Scottish estate hiring couple with £80k salary and two bedroom cottage provided

A "beautiful rural estate" has advertised a job opportunity for two people, with the positions being perfectly suited to a couple who want to live and work in picturesque surroundings. Accommodation will be provided, while the jobs come with a salary of up to £80,000.

The private estate in Perthshire is seeking two people to join its team for around six months of every year. It is looking for a "reliable couple who will take genuine pride in caring for their home", as they will be responsible for making sure that the estate is maintained in good order.

According to the job posting on Greycoat Lumleys, the estate is looking for the couple to start working as soon as possible. The positions come with a salary of between £70,000 and £80,000, while the successful candidates will also receive a refurbished two-bedroom cottage to live in.

Among the various tasks that you and your other half will be responsible for are housekeeping to a high standard, laundry, ironing, and generally keeping the house organised and neat. You will also be required to drive the owners when needed, run errands, and assist with day-to-day household tasks.

Other responsibilities include general DIY and maintenance, general gardening, and assisting with the ongoing development and improvement of the gardens. Additionally, you will be expected to keep the estate, grounds, and surrounding areas tidy and in good order.
